How to Use This Tool

This simulator turns a few business numbers into a clear profit plan. Enter your numbers, pick what you want to improve, and you’ll get a results breakdown you can use right away.

Step 1 — Enter your current business numbers

  • Choose Simple if you only know your annual revenue and margins.
  • Choose Detailed if you want to split revenue into service vs replacement and include overhead.
  • Use your best estimates — this tool is meant to be helpful even if your numbers aren’t perfect.

Step 2 — Pick improvement areas (the sliders)

You’ll see a list of impact areas (pricing, close rate, capacity, retention, efficiency, and more). Each slider is a realistic improvement percentage.

  • Use Set all if you want a quick scenario.
  • Fine-tune individual sliders if you already know where your biggest wins are.
  • If you’re unsure, start small (like 3–7%). You can always adjust and re-run.

Step 3 — Review your results

  • Review the profit increase and the chart.
  • If the result feels too high or too low, go back and adjust Step 1 numbers or Step 2 sliders.
  • Use this as a planning tool: it helps you decide what to focus on first.
